🌎 Amandine Richard is the local ambassador for Climate Fresk in Southern California, dedicated to expanding sustainability education and fostering community engagement. A professional and certified trainer and facilitator, she leads workshops for Climate Fresk and other environmental organizations, including Planetary Boundaries, Biodiversity Collage, Circular Economy, Waste Prevention, Textiles, and Digital Impacts, equipping individuals and organizations with the knowledge to drive meaningful change.

With over a decade of experience in marketing, consulting, and sustainability, she specializes in circular economy, eco-design, and sustainable innovation, helping businesses and institutions integrate sustainability into their strategies. Her expertise spans product development and packaging in the Beauty, Fragrance, and Food sectors, working across FMCG and luxury industries. As the founder of Recurvence, she designs and facilitates transformative sustainability programs, applying systems thinking, circular economy principles, and change management to drive impact. Amandine is also a member of the FACC SF & LA Sustainability Outreach Committee, advocating for corporate sustainability initiatives. Since 2020, she has guided cross-functional teams in embedding eco-conscious design and market-driven sustainability strategies, reducing environmental impact across industries. She is currently pursuing an ESG certification in sustainable finance to further support organizations in aligning sustainability with long-term growth.

👏 Since 2022, Amandine has facilitated and trained over 400 individuals in Climate Fresk and other sustainability workshops, both in-person and online, across France, Sweden, Denmark, the U.S., and globally. She has organized more than 40 sustainability events, engaging diverse audiences, from children to sustainability professionals and leadership teams. In California, she has collaborated with UCLA, UCI, LMU, Caltech, San Diego State University, the International School of Los Angeles, Heal the Bay, Women & Climate, and LA Climate Week. As the volunteer Climate Fresk coordinator for Southern California, she onboards new facilitators and leads community engagement initiatives, building a network of sustainability advocates and expanding Climate Fresk’s impact in the region.
